⭐️ I love leading diverse tech teams delivering products and services to the education industry. Bringing over two decades of expertise in educational technology to my current role as Chief Information Officer at Cambium, I oversee the strategic direction of IT services, information security, and innovations, ensuring robust infrastructure and system integrity across all of Cambium’s operations. ⚛️ As a dynamic IT and digital operations leader in content-based businesses with 24x7x365 secure global footprint, I held divisional CIO positions leading K12 and global operations, as well as an Executive Director role in our Enterprise Architecture Office where we migrated from data center to cloud, overcoming the people, process and technology challenges in this modernization. During an EdTech break, I completed a two-year accelerated product development program as Senior Vice President at a leading audio content and entertainment company, and a SAFe rollout at a telecommunications company.💡Apart from my corporate accomplishments, I am a dedicated #changeleadership and #womenintech thought leader and mentor. I speak at conferences, offering insights on managing diverse teams, the impact of diversity on product development, and the synergy between product and technology groups. I also serve as an adjunct professor, teaching technical project management. Follow me at @dwcano.bsky.social.🏃♀️In my free time, I run the steps outside Empower Field, ski and hike the Rockies, go to live music events... and a couple of times a year I get ambitious with a 5K!
