Reporting to the Chief Transformation Officer, I set Zayo up for success on its SAFe@Zayo transformation to an agile operating model.Major achievements:• Built a Technical Business Relationship Management (BRM) team aligned to Zayo’s value streams.• Established processes using Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) practices for demand and capacity management.• Conducted the first Zayo-wide Program Increment (PI) Planning Event, monthly Agile Release Train (ART) synchronization, weekly Scrum of Scrum (SoS), trainings and office hours with a team of Release Train Engineers (RTEs).

Reporting to the CTO, I led the planning and delivery of digital transformation technology initiatives and programs through the Enterprise Technology Program Management Office (PMO), Platform Engineering (DevOps) team, and Delivery Quality (QA) center with additional responsibilities for vendor and partner management as well as patent strategy. Major achievements:• Led 2-year accelerated digital transformation program for media and entertainment company with 200 million monthly sports, music, talk and podcasts listeners, and 250 radio stations in 45 markets.• Launched B2C platform into the app stores in fall 2022 and operationalized engineering teams for sustainability supporting AWS, Bloomreach CMS, Confluent Kafka streaming, and Kong API gateway.• Selected and managed deliverables for 400 staff and contractors from 5 strategic vendor-partners using Jira and Confluence.• Led intellectual property work resulting in 8 utility and design patents with global extensions. • Stood up enterprise PMO, integrated platform QA, and created technology portfolio analysis.

With a brilliant team, we developed a SaaS-based MVP solution for CRM and content distribution to launch the company. I continue as technology advisor to the founders as they grow and the platform evolves.Major achievements:• Built and launched B2C product in Jan 2021 (from concept to pilot in 110 days), customized for over 35,000 public and private US high schools for this EdTech media start-up. • Designed architecture and technology roadmap for partner integration and investor pitches, continuing as technology advisor to the founders.

Leading 300 technologists across several domains, I was accountable for design, development and maintenance of secure applications, data and infrastructure for 24x7x365 global production systems and workforce solutions for 3000+ employees and 10,000+ contractors around the world. Prior to that role I directed the Enterprise Architecture Office (EAO) for several years, enabling the continuous improvement of the technology capabilities of ETS, with technology lifecycle management, proofs of concepts and pilots for new enterprise solutions. Our portfolio of technologies included Big Data, 3D printing, biometrics, identity management, cloud hosting, mobile device management, virtual desktop infrastructure and artificial intelligence. I provided leadership and oversight related to strategic planning, functional center relationship management and IT strategic planning and innovation.Major achievements:• Led 300 staff and contractors in design, development and maintenance of secure applications, data and infrastructure for 24x7x365 global production systems delivering 20 million tests annually in 180 countries, and workforce solutions for 3000+ employees and 10,000+ contractors around the world. • Developed ETS’ first Software as a Service (SaaS) product, led $5M B2B client engagement for content management subscription and professional services, and created go-to-market (GTM) strategy. • Led business case, vendor selection and execution of a 9-month, 1000+ workload lift-and-shift AWS cloud migration, standing up the cloud center of excellence and cloud network operations center. • Directed the Enterprise Architecture Office (EAO) for several years, leading continuous capability improvement with technology lifecycle management, annual strategic planning, technology roadmaps, proofs of technology, proofs of concept, and pilots – earning two patents.

In managing all information technology for the ETS Global division, I provided technology leadership and technical management in the development and implementation of information solutions. Based in London, I reported to the Managing Director in Paris, ensuring the Global BV leveraged ETS technology as appropriate while closing gaps with local technology solutions. Major achievement: • Delivered end-to-end global services for client-facing greenfield $70M UK government contract. • Stood up supply chain, business operations, finance, facilities and HR functions with teams around the world needing to follow-the-sun on development and decision-making (i.e. operational teams in Watford, UK; support teams Paris, France; an outside vendor in Bangalore, India; US-based application teams in Princeton, NJ.)

Based in our San Antonio office, I was accountable for all information technology and services related to the K12 assessments. This included products and services for teacher use in the classroom, large scale assessments, and all scoring, reporting and operational activities. Major achievements:• Provided technology services for $170M K-12 state-based contract business with a $15.5M budget and 125 staff. • Developed product roadmap and intrapreneurial GTM for K-12 digital products, launching first consumer product (Proofwriter) and first tech partnerships (Microsoft and Nintendo), and earning patent.

Reporting to the CIO/COO leading Master Production Scheduling, I managed a 70-person TAS call center accountable for global operational scheduling and support for test administrations, as well as the outsourcing of all warehouse and publishing operational activities. In my business relations role, on the Business Unit leadership team, I was accountable for the technology solutions for $300M of business focused on operational scoring and reporting.Major achievements:• Led 5-year supply chain outsourcing agreement with Accenture.• Developed a new self-serve, online portal for master teacher certification multi-year candidacy.

As the Vice President of Supplier Business Development, I was able to introduce bricks and mortar manufacturing businesses to the new online marketplaces. Before traditional companies had their own websites, we offered a B2B exchange targeted at small businesses and we created a multi-vendor taxonomy for industrial supplies. I was responsible for recruiting new companies to sell their products to smaller industrial companies. We were eventually incorporated into VerticalNet in 2002 which was sold to Bravo Solutions in 2008.

The area of focus for me was in peer-to-peer sensing devices for the vertical market of package distribution – the mailing and delivery of letters and parcels in the US and around the world. In additional to my management of accounts in the US, I trained teams in Asia on this new technology and supported their activities in applying these new solutions to their clients’ business needs. The Asia-Pacific tour I did included Hong Kong, eastern China, Singapore and Australia.Awarded Honeywell’s President’s Club and Golden Circuit Club in 1997 and 1998, Leadership Selling and Global Growth awards for 1996, 1997 and 1998, and Kona Award for 1999.

Responsible for the Mid-Atlantic region, I managed an established distributor network for GE’s industrial supply.Awarded GE Leadership Selling Awards for 1994 and 1995.
