Managed all aspects of the rape crisis medical/legal advocacy program. Hired, trained, and supervised advocacy program staff and volunteer interns. Tripled the number of RVA program volunteers within two years to be able to provide rape crisis services to over fifteen Chicago hospital emergency rooms.Developed curriculum, recruited volunteer participants, secured venues, coordinated audio-visual, scheduled guest speakers and facilitated workshops for three 40-hour rape crisis counselor trainings each year. Trained medical and criminal justice personnel in hospitals, police stations and attorney offices on sexual assault laws, forensic evidence collection and rape trauma syndrome. Active in a variety of local and state multidisciplinary task force groups.
