United Nations Environment Programme Finance Initiative (UNEP FI) is a partnership between UNEP and the global financial sector to mobilize private sector finance for sustainable development. UNEP FI works with more than 500 members – banks, insurers, and investors – and over 100 supporting institutions – to help create a financial sector that serves people and planet while delivering positive impacts. We aim to inspire, inform and enable financial institutions to improve people’s quality of life without compromising that of future generations. By leveraging the UN’s role, UNEP FI accelerates sustainable finance.

- Co-led the launch of impactful global initiatives shaping international financial market practices including the Net Zero Insurance Alliance, the V20 Sustainable Insurance Facility, the Nairobi Declaration on Sustainable Insurance, the Bogota Declaration on Sustainable Insurance and the Nature Positive Insurance working group- Co-led the development of foundational ESG benchmarks including the first global standard for measuring underwriting portfolio emissions, the first global guide for managing ESG risks in life and health insurance, and the first guide on Nature-Positive Insurance- Worked effectively with senior executives and stakeholders across public and private sectors, demonstrating strong relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills.- Managed implementation of global work across Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean, North America, Europe, and the Asia-Pacific region, ensuring regional compliance and strategy alignment.
