Integrated program between UCL and University of Cambridge.

Research internship:- Conducted X-Ray characterization of different compound semiconductor materials.- PL measurements.- Learned in-depth about material and device growth using MBE.

Part of the Mach-Zehnder modulator chip verification team.My work was focused on testing new generation InP high speed Mach-Zehnder modulator PICs in die form for 130Gbd+ applications. Main responsibilities:- Evaluating the performance of prototype chips by conducting laboratory work and testing, which would include setting up new test apparatus to control the various functional elements found in our MZ chips (detectors, SOAs, nested MZ-interferometers, etc.), using a large variety of instruments typical of a photonics laboratory, such as optical fibers, lenses, OSAs, ORL, among others.- Analysing data with tools and software programs such as Python, Jmp etc.- Creating presentations with weekly reports and results for different teams within the project such as design, verification and reliability.

Giving personalized lessons to students on Physics and Mathematics related subjects.

Presenting the Physics department to future students, engaged in helping the organization of the different social events and open days.Describing the Physics behind the Lowest refrigerator on Earth, Isolation lab, and purification of Helium-3 used in different experiments on campus (all located in the Physics Department of Lancaster University).Explaining the structure and advantages of studying Physics at Lancaster University.

Creating content and publications for the Physics department's social platforms, making and editing photos and videos, physics and non-physics related.
