Challenged to identify restructuring opportunities from assigned accounts and new business opportunities from borrower, equity sponsor, and other relationships. Managed and supported growth of new portfolio from $500M in commitments to a peak of $3B.o Developed and maintained close and strategic relationships with all clients, sponsors and co-lenders, facilitating client retention and additional business from existing accounts.o Performed risk mitigation and valuation assessment on assigned portfolio, including enterprise value, cash flow, asset value, creditor seniority analysis, and competitive/market factors.o Negotiated and underwrote account restructurings and acquisitions.Authorized by Ally Commercial Finance to retain management of problem loans, versus company protocol requiring transition of these loans to the Work-Out group. o Restructured four tier-one automotive suppliers resulting in financial support by the Big Three automakers. Restructures led to full payoff of senior debt via company sale or refinancing.o Negotiated Financing Orders and analyzed Restructuring Plans for accounts operating under Chapter 11 Bankruptcy protection. o Developed liquidation plans for two different accounts that were liquidated under Chapter 7 Bankruptcy proceedings. Worked directly with court appointed Trustees and engaged various consultants to assist in the liquidation of assets in the Aviation and Automotive industries. Liquidation efforts resulted in loss recoveries in excess of $5.0M.
