-Successfully completed a practicum term as per CIPHI outlined hours to sit the Board of Certification oral exam in order to acquire a Public Health Inspector designation (CIPHI(C)).-Independently conducted low, moderate, and high-risk inspections in food safety, drinking water, recreational water, infection prevention and control, personal service settings, IAW/health hazards, and tobacco/vapour control.-Collected and submitted bacteriological water and food samples for lab analysis.-Handled rabies cases of domestic, wild, and livestock species.-Received and responded to intake calls and complaints regarding food safety and sanitation, beach water quality, rural water sampling, air quality and health hazard complaints. -Proficiently utilized Hedgerow software for reports and Nexus documentation.-Interacted and educated operators and public members within the health unit on Public Health legislative requirements.-Successfully conducted tobacco/vapour seizures of illegal products found during inspections.-Assisted in the digitalization of the health unit's tobacco/vapour evidence locker log and in creating a vaping diversion program for high school first offenders.-Assisted in creating WDG Tobacco/Vaping Diversion program for dissemination by TEO's & Health Promotion-Collaborated in creating unique WDG Mass Catering assessment inspection program

-COVID-Safe Ambassador Program for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), designed by NSF International, a global public health and safety organization, in cooperation with Conestoga and local business organizations, and reviewed by Region of Waterloo Public Health.-BEPH students will serve as ambassadors to provide businesses with customized information and resources based on Ontario’s colour-coded stages and framework. Businesses who work with the program’s ambassadors will receive a sticker to be displayed in the workplace’s window. The intention is to provide business owners, employees and patrons with additional confidence in the safety of the workplace.

-Performing inspections and evaluations of animals, their products, facilities, processes and otherrelated activities, as directed.-Explaining program requirements and inspection findings to clients and other parties.-Advising clients of inspection on findings, noting areas of deficiency and directs or participates indetermining corrective or enforcement action required.-Collecting and preparing samples for subsequent laboratory analysis to test for residues, diseaseagents and contaminants in food products, and animals.-Maintaining inspection manuals/memos, client files, travel and activity logs.

-Started as a parts delivery driver (June 2013-February 2014)-While dispatching also filled the Parts Handler position simultaneously -In charge of a team of 8 delivery drivers-Responsible for ensuring deliveries are prompt and on time-Made sure deliveries to our priority customers are always under the anticipated time-Dealt with all returns, cores, and warranty parts-Worked side-by-side daily with managerial staff to ensure the day ran smoothly-Received customer invoices from superiors, filled the orders, and directed drivers accordingly to each route with multiple stops-Constantly kept delivery management times above 80%
