Led and drove the vision, strategy, and roadmap for NFPA’s $20M Electrical Portfolio of publications and content that includes their positional brand strategies, digital content, product development and offerings, programs, and solutions. Positively engaged with members through relationship-building to create opportunities in the marketplace. ~ Developed a Multi-Year, Multi-Channel Content Strategy for the Electrical Portfolio, in a short time frame, that outlined proposed solutions to external stakeholder problems, timelines, and forecasted results.~ Collaborated with the Marketing Team to develop a solution-focused Electrical campaign consisting of prospecting, retargeting and programmatic digital display ads that increased Return on Ad Spend (ROAS).

Developed and directed the vision, strategy, and tactical directions for NFPA’s $5M portfolio of Industrial and Chemical Safety products and solutions. Business manager for publication offerings and digital platforms. Voice of the customer to drive the delivery of differentiated products, tools, and solutions that met identified stakeholder needs to compete effectively.~ Rapidly transitioned into the new role and developed a firm understanding of the industrial and chemical codes and standards and who the users were of those standards that identified alliances to drive awareness to NFPA’s products. ~ Initiated concentrated data analytics to examine the business - breaking it down into market segments and explored sales on a global basis that was presented in a Quarterly Business Review to Executive Management and was acknowledged for promoting new innovative thinking at all levels to drive growth.

Led NFPA’s focus on customer engagement for the Installer/Contractor and Designer/Engineer market segments acting as an advocate and champion to achieve making the customer’s needs clear within and across the company. Built relationships, understood market needs and opportunities to develop and drive new product initiatives for each market segment.~ Represented NFPA stakeholders with passion to build relationships with other electrical organizations and associations to drive partnerships and awareness of NFPA products and services in both domestic and international sales. ~ Developed and launched an interactive digital tool called CodeFinder™ that allowed external and internal NFPA stakeholders to find what codes and standards were enforced domestically and internationally. Since the launch in 2018, it remains the most clicked on content box on the NFPA.org homepage every month and drives awareness of NFPA publications, training, and certifications building its brand.

Identified and developed target accounts, managed the sales process and closed the opportunity. Generated leads for new business development through prospecting, referrals and networking. Proposed solution-oriented recommendations for clients to align with company business sales goals. Prepared proposals and estimates ensuring that the scope was well defined and expectations were established for project success. ~ Drove $1.5M of new business YoY in reoccurring revenue service and inspection contracts.~ Extensively immersed in learning about fire suppression products, testing, and requirements creating a wider scope of knowledge and provided a highly competitive advantage within the fire and life safety industry.

Managed $5M revenue base of inspections, service, and installations of special hazard fire suppression systems. Identified and developed potentially new and existing accounts such as architects and engineers, electrical contractors, major end-users, and general contractors with the emphasis on expanding customer base and product breadth.~ Increased margin points 5% YoY while overseeing the installation, inspection, prevention, maintenance, and repair of suppression products.

Product Marketing Manager of multiple fire and life safety product lines generating over $5M a year in sales, with proven ability to manage large-scale projects and key account relationships. Responsible for justifying new product development investments, determining and documenting product requirements, forecasting sales, launching products into the marketplace, and pre-launch and post-launch marketing activities.

Provided project management support to product managers so that new and existing products could be brought to market. Lead multi-disciplined engineering teams to integrate network option cards into Compaq Alpha Servers. Planned, tracked and reported project schedules and budgets for all network options. Tracked resolution of critical project issues and acted as liaison between Compaq marketing department, Compaq engineering and network card vendors.

Managed $1.2M engineering and testing group consisting of engineers, supervisors and four open area test sites. Provided analog design consultation for products including Information Technology, Medical and Industrial equipment to ensure compliance with domestic and international regulatory standards.
