In a world facing immense challenges in climate, energy, agriculture, biodiversity and community life, it is crucial to work together to find solutions. The transition hurts. Yet systemic change is necessary.With a background as a history teacher and researcher, I have been actively telling stories and stimulating awareness for some time. In 2016 I founded my company Awareness Academy. Since then I have been working as a freelance copywriter and project manager, consciously using language to make a positive and constructive contribution to the world of tomorrow. My focus is on creating better understanding and awareness of the challenges we face, and the mobilization of people to work together to find solutions.In addition, I have been experimenting with new economic models and community building for almost ten years. As co-founder of the Possible Today Foundation, I have been committed to promoting meaningful work and the social resilience of local communities.Since the end of 2022, I am active as a coordinator of Community Center 't Struikske in the Eindhoven district of 't Ven. Here I use my experience to promote self-organization and participation within the community. By involving local residents in the management and activities of the community center, we strive for an inclusive and resilient community in which everyone has a voice and discovers his or her possibilities.My daily drive is to connect people, because 1+1 = 3, to stimulate positive change and to build a sustainable future for coming generations. I do this with a combination of language, innovation, organization and collaboration. In this way, I put the transition into words and the new economy into practice for a more livable and resilient world!
