As partner at RitzHolman CPAs, I focus on providing audit, tax and financial management services to nonprofits. I work with many nonprofits that are human service, arts, economic development and job training organizations, as well as associations, charter, choice and partnership schools. I regularly work with nonprofits that are subject to the federal Uniform Guidance and state auditing standards. At RitzHolman CPAs, we also provide individuals, businesses and nonprofits services in tax, bookkeeping and audit.As auditor and adviser, I build partnerships with nonprofits to help them succeed in areas such as understanding non-profit accounting quirks and complexities, operating efficiently and effectively, learning and implementing internal control best practices, and meeting regulatory needs to comply with funding requirements.As an active member in the community, I have provided volunteer services to many organizations as well as provided board member service through treasurer positions. I have instructed classes at the Nonprofit Center of Milwaukee and been guest lecturer at UW - Milwaukee. I enjoy being involved in my church by teaching Sunday school and assisting in youth programs. I joined RitzHolman CPAs in 2000 after receiving my bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse in 1999. I am a member of the American and Wisconsin Institutes of Certified Public Accountants.Nonprofits are pillar in providing our community members growth opportunities and essential life care. I am passionate about helping nonprofits to be financially successful so they can carry out their mission.
