- Support the establishment of Government Innovation Units in Latin America, a structure that generates ongoing evidence of cost-effectiveness for government interventions of varying scales. Through rigorous evaluations using controlled and natural experiments, the units aim to assess the impact and efficiency of government programs, policies, and program components.- Carry out the creation and development of Government Innovation Units in the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Brazil, and Peru, including incubating experimental evaluations, causal inference coaching for government officials, and assistance in the match-making process with external researchers.- Establish and strengthen partnerships with private investors, government officials, politicians, and research institutions to support the evaluation of governmental programs across sectors.Incubated projects and ongoing experiments are presently related to education, public health, poverty, social protection, public safety, and competitiveness.
