Southern / South Central Market Planner responsible for infrastructure, architecture, and budgeting analysis for the market area. Responsible for the assessment of the quantity of TDM connections remaining in the network and the cost to support and maintain them. Develop plans to manage the quantity and budgeting for new installations and leases through contractors and vendors for optical, Ethernet, and/or MW access for RAN connections.Cross functional support of dark fiber design team and dark fiber providers, partner with regional RF and Site Development peers to ensure deployment and implementation plans are on time and within budget requirements.

Project manage business-critical access and access-related topology on the Sprint national wireless network. Create, manage, and execute designs for core optical, MAN, ethernet, cable, and microwave technologies to optimize network for capacity and growth. Strategic initiative to support access for the deployment of new RAN technology platforms and support the LTE platform deployment back haul capacity requirements. Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with vendors to negotiate facility pricing and terms. Serve as Subject Matter Expert regarding the wireless optimization.

Formulate and execute strategies to design and implement a robust, hybrid architecture that includes core, MAN, alternative access vendors, Ethernet, cable and microwave technologies to minimize access costs, and optimize network survivability while providing capacity for growth, strategic initiatives and new technologies. Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with vendors to negotiate facility pricing and terms. Serve as Subject Matter Expert regarding the Wireless Optimization Planning Process.Selected Contributions:♦ Created a business case that successfully integrated the Nextel / Sprint networks in New York City.♦ Partnered with RF and Switch Operations to perform cell site audits in NYC that resulted in the disconnect or integration of 400 circuits and $2M annual savings. ♦ Developed an access database to aid in project management and created a process documents to enable audits to be duplicated in other markets; resulting savings exceeded $2.5M annualized.♦ Developed business cases and wrote implementation plans to generate $8.5M annualized savings in 36 months. ♦ Conceptualized, developed, and led an inter-organizational volunteer program that grew into 21 teams that provided meals for the Ronald McDonald House 4-nights weekly.♦ Recipient of the Excellence Award for contributions in the team with “Do it Now” and “Complete as Winners” conduct led to $16.7M in access savings during 2009.

Performed end-to-end provisioning of DS3, cell site, PSTN and National Platform facilities for DC Metro.
