At Better than Unicorns we expand human awareness by designing and delivering fantastic immersive experiences. We leverage technology to help people embrace their humanity. We focus on corporate culture, crafting services including but not limited to, virtual reality team building, facilitated vision and project planning meetings, and team events. We are experts in creating experiences that transport the participant to create sticky memories that produce lasting change to the quality of their whole life.

During my 15 years as garden manager I grew the garden program from approximately 10 plot renters to over 100, expanded our perennial plantings to over a hundred fruit, nut, native or medicinal trees, shrubs and plants, expanded volunteerism to numerous community partners and hundreds of annual volunteers, expanded donations to 5000 to 6000 pounds annually of nutrient dense greens distributed locally to residents of the Swannanoa Valley. I was a regular presenter and educator at local and regional conferences.

Specializing in yoga retreats and intimate events, I prepare nourishing, soul enriching foods that transform your events into experiences participants return to again and again. I also provide culinary instruction for all ages. I custom create your experience with you, whether it's learning basic skills in the kitchen to preparing a three course meal with a group a friends.
