I envision informatics to play a role in the future to reduce the harms caused by current healthcare staffing shortages. Primarily, the burden on the tertiary level of healthcare could be eased by the use of new technology to allow for remote monitoring and early detection of declining health statuses and suggesting early interventions to prevent the development of serious illnesses and hospitalizations. I believe that new technology will also allow for optimization of the nursing workflow to ease workloads and allow nurses to focus on therapeutic relationships. I am also excited by the prospect of what AI will bring to healthcare, and I am extremely eager to gain and hone my skills and knowledge in this domain so that I can be a part of the innovation that I have envisioned in our future healthcare system.I look forward to furthering my knowledge in health informatics so that I can become involved in the improvement and innovation of healthcare in the next few decades, as it involves both my interest in technology and my passion in large scale healthcare improvements.Let's connect and chat!
