Diana Silva has over 20 years of experience in construction management, software implementation and building activation. Diana understands the challenges of being a woman in construction as well as a working mom. She has worked her way up the ladder in the construction industry while raising her daughter as a single mother. One of Diana’s proudest achievements was earning her MBA the same month she watched her daughter graduate high school. The last 16 years of Diana’s career were spent at HTS, an affiliate of HBS, where Diana held positions across the organization, starting as an office manager then moving into software implementation and project coordination, then earning a promotion to Director of Customer Success. This past year, HTS decided to spin out its software division into a new company, FreightTrain, and Diana was chosen as FreightTrain’s VP of Operations. In her new role, Diana has successfully led the creation of the new company, hiring and developing the team, implementing and training customers, and ensuring a smooth transition. Diana is thriving in this new role due to her ability to multi-task and her passion for getting “hands-on” with her customer’s problems to develop innovative solutions with a focus on building long-lasting relationships. Diana is from Southern California and currently lives in Azuza, a small mountain town, where Diana enjoys hiking the trails and spending time with her daughter when she’s not hard at work growing FreightTrain.
