I am a translator and an English language trainer with a degree in European Languages and Literature. I am proficient in Spanish and English, and have Portuguese as my native language and hold a Master's degree in Translation and Multilingual Communication from Universidade do Minho as of 2022. According to my academic training I gained skills in literary, technical and general translation but also audiovisual translation, more specifically, subtitling. Additionally, I also deepened my knowledge of corpus linguistics during my internship that focused on linguistic analysis of the language of some medical students in Universidade do Minho. Apart from that, I also subtitled medical videos from Portuguese into English, combining audiovisual translation with medical translation.I have experience working as a freelance translator for LinguaeMundi Traduções, Lda., from 2022 to 2024 and Porto Editora from 2022 to 2023. I was an english teacher at Double Decker- Academia de Educação e Línguas, Lda from February to July 2023, where I taught Cambridge english to children and teenagers. I am currently working as an English language trainer for Mais Idiomas, where I teach corpoarte Oxford english to business professionals of various companies. I am also working as an English language instructor for iTalki, where I teach English to international students of various nationalities.I am dedicated to providing high-quality English classes for a variety of students.
