While employed in the quality control/quality assurance laboratory of STS Inks company I was responsible of ink samples analysis (types of inks: water-based, UV, solvent). Based on these results I was in charge to decide whether accept manufacturing process or continue with adjustment. Interpretation of the test results was based on the comparison with reference standards.These tests included:- analysis of sample viscosity by viscometer and rheometer,- analysis of sample pH,- analysis of sample surface tension,- filtration time test,- analysis of sample moisture - analysis of sample color by colorimetric test and drown down test.While working with STS I become familiar with inks, solvents, raw materials as well as its characteristics, safety rules and production processes. I used my knowledge, experience, and soft skills to support new employees of my team to help them adjust in the quality control process.

While performing research for my master's thesis I gained experience in the following fields:- In-vitro studies based on the cell culture models (MCF7, MCF10A, Fibroblast as a negative control)- Cell viability and proliferation assays (MTT test, Trypan Blue, LDH test)- Scintillation methods (radioactive Thymidine and Proline incorporation)- Performing advanced molecular biology methods such as cytometric assays (viability tests, proliferation assays, cell count, Annexin V+AO+PI, mitochondrial potential) using NucleoCounter (ChemoMetec)- Protein expression analysis: SDS-PAGE, Western Blot, ELISA, Immunocytochemistry (Bioimaging)Results obtained from this project were presented on the poster and oral sessions during National Scientific Conferences.Knowledge and laboratory experience that I gained at Academia is related but not limited to:- Drug compounding and manufacturing - Organic chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, Physical Chemistry- Chemical analysis, Toxicology, - Biology, Microbiology, Biotechnology- Human anatomy, Physiology, Pathophysiology- Pharmacology, Pharmacokinetics- Biochemistry, Biophysics, Molecular Biology
