In addition, responsible for strengthening the technical and manufacturing organization to meet the upcoming implementation of the company's ambitious capacity expansion program.

Served as the production manager for the anode and cathode mixing and coating operations for electrode manufacturing for Alevo. Worked to move from engineering controlled operations to full scale 24/7 production. Planned production based on WIP levels and customer orders. Worked to increase coating yield through lean manufacturing.

Production manager over anode and cathode powders processing for Aquion Energy, an advanced battery start-up company at two plant sites. Planned the production based on customer orders and pilot trials while utilizing manpower and materials. Worked meet plant KPIs and corporate goals. Lead team of technicians with support from engineering, maintenance, safety, and supply chain to upgrade equipment to meet production needs during scale up operations.  Supervision of 19 employees including hiring, training, and evaluating performance. Implemented shift schedules as production needs increased. On design team for self-empowered work teams. Worked to implement lean manufacturing concepts. Prepared and reviewed various production reports to determine how to improve production time and yields. Increased first pass yields to meet plant goals saving $110K in cathode scrap and $50K in anode scrap. Worked to implement safe work practices. Oversight of safety program within the team. Achieved zero recordable and zero lost time injury goals for 2 consecutive years. Prepared operating budget and managed to the annual department budget. Worked with engineering to implement capital projects to meet department goals while meeting budgetary constraints.

Served as a project manager and worked on projects related to the commercial launch of the AHI product to market. Involved in design review, bid phase, and construction phase oversight of a new powders process. Coordinated activities between process engineering, equipment engineering and outside contractors to keep the cross functional team on track. Served as the team leader to get the satellite site functional. Responsible for facilities management of satellite site including fire, HVAC, gas, security, and general safety.

Responsible for the management of the daily operations of the Authority. The position included theoversight of multiple engineers and contractors to complete various capital projects for the CHJA. It involved the review of plans specification for projects, review of contracts for service and approved engineering and contractor bills. In addition, the position served as liaison between the Authority and the five contributing communities including rate increases, budget reviews, service agreements, billing and operational issues.  Completed annual report and budget which included preparing the 5-year capital improvement plan, compiling annual operating expenses and revenues, and detailing bond payments. Oversight of the 537 Plan Sewage Plan Update for the CHJA Service Area including five (5) municipalities.  During this time, $11.5 M of construction work was completed. Managed the process design, bidding and construction of the various projects. Some of the projects included the Interceptor Upgrade Project that rerouted 500 feet of 30-inch sewer line, Anaerobic Digestion System Upgrade Project that included sludge mixers, membrane gas storage cover, waste gas burner, gas piping and appurtenances, Dewatering Building Upgrade including sludge pumping, belt press, and chemical systems and the installation of the Parallel Interceptor including 3,800 LF of 21-inch PVC line. Coordination of the pretreatment program including annual report to EPA, industrial survey review, industrial site visits, permit preparation, and permit enforcement.

Served as a product manager at National Colloid, a tolling manufacturer of specialty chemicals, for clients assisting in chemical selection, pricing, inventory control, and shipping. Managed manufacturing of a new product including specialized labeling, bottling, and shipping. Completed market research of new products in the wastewater industry to develop pricing, market strategy, clientele, and profitability. Assisted in the NSF certification process of new chemical products.

Served as Project Manager for annual engineering services for several municipalities. Projects included annual budget preparation, sewer system investigation, pre-treatment program coordination, long term control plan (LTCP) management, Chapter 94 Wasteload Management Reports, and Capital Expenditure Plans. Assisted in the design, bidding, construction, and management phases of a wet weather project including a WWTP expansion, raw sewage pump station upgrade, and a parallel sewer interceptor installation projects totaling $7.74M.

Responsible for process design engineering including conceptual design through detailed process design and construction. Design work included the completion of construction drawings and technical specifications for various projects including well water distribution system expansion project, groundwater treatment systems and wastewater treatment for steel mill facilities.
