The Office of CDIO Director is a senior level role, responsible for overseeing, core functions for the Digital organization. This Office is responsible for the operational and strategic management of IT Services and is accountable for financial management, planning, governance, audit and controls, communications, support services, operations, and disaster recovery governance. This role oversees, directing and establishing internal controls with regards to Technology Governance and Auditing. This position is accountable for financial Management of all Digital budgets and will work with the CDIO to improve visibility for more effective FinOps decision making. Additional responsibilities include the development, maintenance and governance of MVP's FinOps program to ensure MVP gets the maximum business value of cloud. This role is also responsible for pulling together a connected data driven story that demonstrate value and accountability for the Digital organization. Additionally, supervise, the monitoring and maintenance of all Digital Technology policies, standards, and procedures and ensure compliance and alignment with the overall business strategy. This position also manages, Deskside Experience, Service Desk and Technology Operations ensuring that an effective and efficient level of Support for our customers is provided for Technology related issues or problems.

Direct report to the VP of Technology Management with responsibility for providing advanced/specialized technical/management support. Manage large-scale enterprise projects and system conversions. Projects include: *End point encryption project – Deploy McAfee end point encryption to over 8100 devices across the enterprise to comply with HIPAA and Meaningful use requirements. *Windows 7/IE8/Office 2010 Migration - 24 month project - $6M budget – 9000+ users/ 12,000 desktops/laptops*iSite/PACS Radiology System Upgrades to version 3.6.120 & 3.6.134 – including integration with Soarian, Allscripts, Single Sign-on and Novius Radiology systems. *Novell to Microsoft email migration – 9 month project - $1.7 M budget - *EHR Mobile Device Pilot Project – Project to determine the usability of different types of Mobile Devices with EHR systems (Soarian and Allscripts) (iPad, iPhone and BlackBerry) Coordinated the delivery and set-up of mobile devices, provided training and did feasibility survey results collection/analysis and recommendation of potential device use adoption. *Virtualized Desktop Infrastructure–Rollout of VDI devices to medical institution/college – HP thin clients *Desktop Encryption –Upgrade and Deployment of Disk Encryption of all laptops. Included applying removal storage media encryption to all users within the institution *Enterprise Print, Scan and Fax Optimization – Green initiative to save on power, paper, supplies, devices etc. Consolidated devices across all areas of the hospital, college, center and practice has saved 192,000 in the first year. Planned as 3 year implementation (currently on-going).
