I am the founder of Digital Magic Memories, an independent company specialising in the digital manipulation, recovery and restoration of images involving photographs, engineering blue prints, forensic analysis and newspaper illustrations, in fact anything that can be imported into my computer!As well as undertaking and having an in depth knowledge of all aspects of photo restoration and repair I have extensive experience in forensic photo analysis, digital imaging, photo display work, scanning and re sizing images, high quality printing and tailored Photoshop training and teaching.I also undertake live demonstrations on Photo Restoration primarily using Photoshop and give talks on before and after photo restoration images.Prior to commencing the business in June 2009 I studied and acquired extensive knowledge in Adobe Photoshop, the industry standard computer package and other complementary programmes and have a deep understanding of the techniques involved in image manipulation. These include image recovery and enhancement, the recreation of destroyed or missing parts and sensitively repairing photographs using the tools within Photoshop and associated enhancement programmes.I have worked on well over 3,000 client photographs, ranging from the early 19C to the present day for Archivists, private companies and the public. My photographic work has also been featured on Channel 4 television.I also teach Photoshop to individuals and adult evening classes, as well as displaying and presenting on image manipulation.
