About Diane Harper

Wassassou (UK) West African Drumming Ensemble provides workshops, performances and team building events throughout the UK. Led by the amazing, er, me, we take great pride in bringing cultural diversity to the fore. We have provided workshops in a wide variety of settings, including prisons, schools and colleges, centres for mentally and physically disabled people, and corporate bodies.     I provide counselling and support for young people under the age of 18 misusing drugs and/or alcohol with associated life complications which can be very chaotic. Training courses allow me to use cognitive behavioural therapy, motivational interviewing, anger management and person centred approach. I am involved in extensive multi-agency working. I train volunteers to NVQ Diploma Level as a qualified NVQ assessor. I have delivered presentations to a wide variety of audiences, including medical students, schools, colleges and other parties. I am the Diversity Lead for the organisation.
