Co-Founder, Coryton Advanced Fuels Ltd.Best EIS Investment Exit for 2015 - with Oakfield Capital Partners.Together with a business partner and Private Equity partners Oakfield Capital, took the specialist fuels business Coryton Advanced Fuels Ltd from a start up in 2010, through to a secondary PE buyout of the Company by Lyceum Capital in October 2015.On start up, the Coryton asset had previously been mothballed. The challenge in the first six months was to take the facility from a standing start to a fit-for purpose business with full stock, accreditations, Health and Safety systems, staff teams and of course customer base.The business grew steadily over the next five years, establishing long-term blue-chip automotive, Tier 1 and oil industry customers throughout Europe, securing a number of prestigious contracts and exporting globally. I was responsible for the Commercial side of the business, leading key contract negotiations, customer accounts, strategic direction of business growth, together with revenue and margin forecasting.A secondary PE buyout was completed in October 2015 with Lyceum Capital.Oakfield Capital Partners were named the winner of the Enterprise Investment scheme (EIS)Association’s Best EIS Investment Exit for 2015 for their investment in Coryton Advanced Fuels.
