Plant Director
Current• Establish management operating system for effective production management.• Responsible for working collaboratively with peers in Supply Chain, Engineering and Quality to effectively plan, coordinate and direct all production functions to achieve service levels, plan vs. actual and profit, growth, and investment return goals.• Lead the workforce planning, and resource optimization including machine utilization. • Develops five year and annual strategic manufacturing plans, including annual operating plans and quarterly and monthly performance KPIs• Develops, manages to, and reports on functional areas of responsibility via performance metrics, functional KPIs and Continuous Improvements activities within all areas of manufacturing site.• Partners with Environmental Health and Safety Dept to create and foster a culture of safety.• Coach and develop peers, and practitioners in Lean practices to lead advancement of the FLEXcon applied Lean principals.• Lead the definition of standard work with Engineering and Quality teams to define process capabilities, improvements and understanding.• Create a culture of positive ownership of workmanship and work completions complementing workforce development and leadership principles. • Provide strong leadership to direct reports. Establish personal development plans• Review performance of employees and implement actions to improve performance. Approve employment, promotion, dismissal or change in compensation of personnel. • Participate in the process of capital equipment and facilities planning.• Meet at regular intervals with offsite plant leaders to establish best manufacturing practices across North America.• Responsible for the successful training, mentoring, and guiding of team members in new processes.• Must be committed to a high standard of safety and be willing and able to comply with all environmental and safety laws and regulations,
