NATA is a not-for-profit membership based accreditation body. I have held a number of roles during my time with NATA encompassing a wide range of activities. Australia’s Parents Magazine produced a bi-monthly publication (which went to monthly shortly after I started) along with four other ‘specials’ during the year. While acting as a support to the Editor, I also took on the following:• Organising castings for photo shoots (mothers, babies and families) both through agencies and through magazine requests; interviewing models; sourcing appropriate products for feature articles and writing articles around these• Producing and managing running sheets for photo shoots, ensuring client needs were met and that the shoot ran on time and to budget• Arranging competitions for the magazines including sourcing products and sponsors, judging entries and organising despatch of prizes• Phone counselling as required and on-forwarding to relevant organisations if necessary• Assisting with the organisation of booths for trade shows, putting together show bags and taking part in shows to meet readers and other stakeholders

As PA to the Financial Controllers for NSW and the Asia Pacific Region, my duties included:• Arranging appointments domestically and overseas using BT’s in-house electronic appointment system. Making associated travel and accommodation arrangements• Liaising with BT’s six person UK audit team, making all associated travel, accommodation and entertainment arrangements and ensuring the smooth running of the audit• Assisting the Financial Controllers with managing their respective teams (over 20 staff), trouble-shooting, arranging meetings, taking minutes, setting up for Boardroom lunches and events and client liaison

Sydney City Council ran an extensive programme of entertainment for the citizens of Sydney. These included daily weekday entertainment events at the Martin Place Amphitheatre, concerts including Organ Recitals, a Christmas concert, jazz, blues and Senior Citizens Concerts. Additional shows such as the Lord Mayor’s Command Performance and an annual Lord Mayor’s Ball were also arranged, which required close coordination with the Civic Liaison and Protocol Officers. • Scheduling the annual programme of entertainment, catering for all sectors of the community; calling for quotes and assessing these to ensure a quality programme was delivered on budget• Overseeing all entertainment presentations including developing running sheets, liaising with artists and Town Hall production staff, stage managing the show, closing and follow up• Managing a staff of five including a graphic artist, personal assistant and three presentation staff• Liaising with Protocol staff for official Town Hall functions which included the Lord Mayor, Lady Mayoress, Aldermen and visiting dignitaries• Liaison and arrangements for functions, concerts and visits in association with Sister City visits (e.g. Japan Week, US week etc.)
