WonderWare took the educational toy industry by storm being one of the first to develop a line of cross-over toys. Before WonderWare, there were educational products and toy products separately marketed. It was obvious to me that the markets were on the verge of combining since the need of parents was not being met by either; they wanted toys that promoted learning and imagination. WonderWare went from the kitchen floor to the international catalog industry in less than 5 years with a full product line. US catalogs included: Child Craft, ABC School Supply, Hearth Song, I. Magnin, to name a few as well as high end toy stores around the US. The corporation was closed after nearly ten years having not been properly funded at conception.Had I not accepted 50% less than I knew I needed to expand, it would be running today. I chose my sanity over business having learned you can't do it alone. I finished the outstanding orders and closed the doors free of debt. It was the propulsion of catching an emerging market that was the secret to my success and I'm seeing yet another....
