Local Operations Officer
CurrentSupport the Regional Head of Operations by implementing the tournament operations plan locally to the highest standards including but not limited to Broadcast, Accreditation, Security, Medical, Venue readiness, Event management, Hotel, flights, catering, ground logistics, volunteer and technology. • Process visas for team and event staff, in conjunction with the logistics units and government liaisons. • Assist with the implementation of the accreditation and distribution process within the host venue. • Ensure catering and distribution plans and schedules for match and practice venues are established and communicated with stakeholders and service providers. • Work with the venue and facilities unit to ensure that all stadium vending, and concessionaires’ spaces are fully functional. • Support match managers with the implementation of critical run-order activities to ensure the efficient and effective execution of match day management. Manage all venue specific tournament operations and ensure they are delivered to ICC and World Class standards. • Ensure all local match venues (stadia, practice venues, hotels, airport and any other venue that will be used during the tournament) have the minimum ICC/CWI requirements necessary for the hosting of the tournament. • Ensure that the central accreditation center is fully operational, and necessary staff and service providers have been issued accreditation in a timely manner. • Conduct venue simulation exercises where necessary to ensure that all functional areas meet operational minimum standards. • Liaise with host governments to ensure that all operational obligations agreed under the MOU are executed. • Assist in the reports and presentation for meetings and integration workshops.
