As Executive Director I work closely with key educational and industry stakeholders. Responsible for implementing the vision set forth by our Board of Directors.. I will play a crucial role in fostering communication among all ecosystem partners to ensure collaboration and alignment of efforts. The curriculum will be enhanced with high caliber Industry guest lecturers.The goals of the Academy are:1. Develop and deliver a standardized curriculum that meets industry standards and requirements.2. Provide training for industry-recognized credentials to enhance students' skill sets and employability.3. Offer work-based learning opportunities with technical instruction and mentorship to prepare students for the workforce.4. Facilitate internship placements to provide practical experience and networking opportunities for students.5. Foster a diverse and inclusive talent pipeline by recruiting and supporting a wide range of students.6. Provide access to a state-of-the-art studio to attract film professionals and enhance hands-on learning experiences.7. Establish clear pathways for students to progress towards obtaining degrees in the field.8. Implement sustainable strategies to ensure the long-term financial stability and growth of the institution.We aim to reach diverse and traditionally underrepresented students and adult learners, including those who are unemployed, by offering accessible training opportunities throughout the state.

In 2002 Diane Raver co-founded The Garden State Film Festival with actor Robert Pastorelli. In the spring of 2003 the First Annual Garden State Film Festival was held in Asbury Park, New Jersey and was a huge success hosting 3000 attendees. Since its inception, the attendance has exceeded 30,000 and such notable celebrities as Glenn Close, Robert Pastorelli, Frank Vincent, Paul Sorvino, Budd Schulberg, Kurtwood Smith, James Gandolfini, Celeste Holm among others have attended.
