Dr. Diane Vatne joined Sewall in 2010. In her capacity as Communications & Proposal Manager, she is responsible for internal and external company communications, and writing & managing large cross-disciplinary proposals, including division of responsibilities, writing, editing, and production. She also manages the company website, reviews contracts, coordinates and writes letter proposals, and generates new proposal materials as needed.

As executive director, founded a non-profit organization dedicated to reducing risk factors related to drug and alcohol use among youth. Duties included grant writing; budget development; financial management; hiring and supervising program implementers; community outreach; coordinating task force and board activities; and writing publicity materials and reports.

Coordinated the Community Youth Development Study in Old Town, ME for the University of Washington.
