I spent my initial working life setting up, managing and expanding financial services businesses including the marketing department of Legal & General in South Africa.In 1984 I took over my father's IFA company and built it into the business it is today. My background was secretarial which has been a tremendous asset throughout my working life, giving me insight to managing staff and organisational skills which has been a great help in managing businesses.
