I am a bilingual, cross-disciplinary professional with expertise in Technology & Innovation management, International business, and Entrepreneurship. I hold a PhD in Management, an MBA and an Engineering degree. Currently, I serve as an Associate Professor of International Business at Carleton University, where I teach international business and international entrepreneurship to undergraduate and MBA students in Canada and abroad.My research spans technology, innovation, and techno-entrepreneurship within a global context. My past and current international research projects include business incubators and accelerators, business models, applications of AI technologies, innovation ecosystems, business models, and topic modeling. My work is published in h highly ranked journals in the fields of international business, innovation and entrepreneurship.I am also the principal of Diane Isabelle & Associates Consultants, providing expert advice to government departments and private sector organizations on innovation management, business strategies, programs and policies. I hold the position of Vice Chair of the Board of Directors of Operation Eyesight Universal, an international development organization based in Calgary, Canada, dedicated to preventing blindness and restoring sight in low-and middle-income countries across four continents.Previously, I was the Executive Director to the Vice-President Physical Sciences at the National Research Council of Canada (NRC), the Government of Canada's premier research and technology organization, and, for many years, an Industrial Technology Advisor for NRC-Industrial Research Assistance Program (IRAP), supporting Canadian firms with strategic innovation and business advice to compete globally. My extensive experience includes managing complex national and international MOUs, programs, and projects. I began my career as a project engineer with multinational firms such as General Electric, Boeing Aerospace and Esso.
