I am part of a team delivering a life skills program, a healthy living program, and a young entrepreneurs program to teenagers with learning disabilities. I help the young people to engage with the activities, and I contribute some ideas for the programs.

I completed a 10 week level 2 OT placement working at Reservoir Court, an acute mental health hospital for older adults. I worked independently on many activities including planning and running some individual and group activities. I independently conducted initial interviews, Model of Human Occupation Screening Tool assessments (MoHOST), Addenbrooke’s Cognitive Examination-III (ACE-III), kitchen assessments, and wash & dress assessments. I also led on home assessments under supervision.

I completed a six week, level one, OT placement working across ten medical and surgical wards. I independently collected and prioritised the referrals, gathered background information, carried out initial interviews, and ordered equipment. I led on transfer assessments, and wash & dress assessments under supervision.

I led the sales and marketing activities for this small IT company, including presentations, demonstrations, written proposals, and creating marketing materials. I recruited, trained, and managed new staff. I also project managed some of our larger client projects which involved co-ordinating the efforts of different departments and external suppliers.
