My career in the financial services industry started more than three decades ago, rising out of a keen interest in the stock market and investing. It wasn’t long, however, before I realized that financial planning was the world in which I could make a direct, positive impact on people’s lives — and thus, my role as a wealth manager at The Humphreys Group was born.Founded in 1983, The Humphreys Group is a women-owned and -operated wealth management firm that's passionate about helping women step into their financial power. We know that women are already good at money, which they see through our honest and empathetic approach to wealth management. We're also a champion of values-aligned investing and during the last 20 years have seen how ESG investing has become more compelling, rigorous and impactful. Our firm became a B Corp in 2020, joining a powerful community of for-profit companies using business as a force for good. Our mission has been featured in Forbes, the New York Times, the San Francisco Chronicle, Boston Globe, and more.  In addition to holding the Certified Financial Planner™ designation, I earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance from the Haas School of Business, University of California Berkeley. In 2018, I co-wrote the Book "Rewriting the Rules: Telling Truths about Women and Money." In 2020, I was named one of InvestmentNews' Women to Watch. I've been a speaker at events hosted by Ellevate, the Financial Planning Association, Charles Schwab, and 100 Women In Finance.
