- Auditor - 1989 through 1994: served clients primarily in construction real estate and government/non-profit organizations. Gained experience in working with audit, tax, and consulting teams as both a staff person and project leadership roles in a growing practice office (Indianapolis). - Assurance Manager (internal consultant) 1994 - 1998: Joined the internal Audit & Assurance team focusing on re-engineering audit staff training, implementation and execution of a consistent firmwide audit approach, supporting audit research and audit technology tools and serving offices firmwide. (General Firm)- Human Resources Manager (organizational development/training/coaching) 1998 - 2001: Assisted with and/or led strategic plan initiatives related to People including Partner Goals and Compensation, Firmwide Training and Development, Coaching, Feedback, Staff Performance Management and Compensation, Communication, and Retention.- Assisted with firm merger into BKD, LLP and transitioning Olive Human Resources function to corporate BKD office.
