Managed multiple projects and acted as the subject matter expert for general ledger, order management, accounts receivable, inventory and logistics business systems. Performed various activities including resource planning, project estimating, coordinating between IT and business users, system testing, training, documentation, and status reporting insuring that assigned IT projects were successful, on time and on budget.• Led the IT effort and detailed analysis to implement a headquarters mandated global finance system (GAIA) for North America including a new GL chart of accounts and accounting rules.• Successfully upgraded the Discover Reporting application and converted 3000+ end user reports, providing end user re-training with no downtime.• Managed a team of six (6) IT resources for Toshiba Canada’s conversion and report development for an Oracle E-Business Suite implementation. Modules included OM, AR, Inventory, Purchasing and Service. • Created a dynamic project estimating spreadsheet tool that allowed IT managers to quickly estimate project costs, resource effort and timelines for presenting to business stakeholders for approval.• Successfully implemented custom interfaces and reporting to support the launch of a voice over IP telephone system for the telecom division.• Managed and led the initiative to implement global customer and vendor numbering standards mandated by headquarters in Tokyo.• Acted as liaison for IT executive management for a new global service and support call center initiative; temporarily relocating to Munich, Germany to work with the CRM implementation partner (Siemens).
