About Diane Foote

I spent my professional career in organizations dedicated to ensuring a literate, educated population. My continued, volunteer efforts focus on equitable access to literacy, education, and opportunity.I've worked in various for-profit and nonprofit environments including children's book publishing, association and nonprofit management, librarianship, and higher education, and I appreciate the opportunities and challenges unique to each type of setting. My skills transcend the specific areas in which I've served the longest, children's literature and librarianship and marketing communications, although I will always remain passionate about them.
