Interior decorating is my primary passion but working on sets in the prop/production/art directing realm was a natural segue for me when I first moved to Los Angeles. I learned an invaluable amount about the industry, how much hard work and unglamorous hours go into it and I would not give up my experiences for the world. I started out as a PA under an experienced Production Designer and Carpenter and was offered each opportunity following by referral. I would love to work on set as given the right project.

I collaborate with home and business owners on all aspects of design from color consultation to space planning all the way to the furnishings phase. I have worked with a few clients in the Bay Area thus far and look forward to helping others in my new residence of Los Angeles who are in need of some design revamping!

I source, research and suggest purchases ranging from home décor to expendables on behalf of a renowned artist and his family while factoring in their keen aesthetic and maintaining a personal responsibility for budget.

I aided the photographer and founder in creating portraits of children by prepping children for pictures, setting up lighting, post-editing and generating high sales for the company in the South Bay.

I assisted the Creative Director and Founder in sourcing potential content for the site, in generating ideas for fundraising and social media campaigns. I help create editorial content for social media press kits and general marketing. Unfortunately, the founder of Tellingreads decided to dissolve her start-up before it really got off the ground despite the prominent angel investors and acclaimed contributing authors.

As the design assistant for a start-up showroom gallery and dealer, I aided the owners/designers with design projects for clients in Noe Valley, researched vendors and their product lines, vetted potential design clients for design work as well as for generating sales. I created slick power point presentations for power lunch-ins with high-end design firms. I produced marketing editorial write-ups for SF Gate, fielded customer service questions, worked on organizing, creating and updating their database entry system. I handled a miscellaneous range of administrative tasks, generating revenue for the company and creating quotes. Supernatural represented many luxury European lines such as mdfItalia, Tissentanta, Riva, Christien Meindertsma and so much more.

In this very customer service and sales heavy role, I fielded customer service inquiries regularly as a sales person and even more so as a manager. On any given day I did a number of tasks: reception, research, aiding customers with fabric, furniture, color & design choices, space planning and creating floor plans for visual aids, creating quotes, corresponding with furniture manufacturers and most importantly, generated high sales revenue for the company with mostly domestic and occasionally international orders.

Due to the timing of this internship period, my primary function for the foundation was to help aid the business with their relocation from one site to another. I assisted with events, gallery shows, produced marketing pamphlets for high-fundraising soirees and handled general administrative and reception tasks as well.
