Cleared 85% of the U.S. television marketplace. Syndicated an Environmental News Program and worked on several series and one-offs for the domestic and international marketplace. These included CARE International’s film: “The Last Child: The Global Race to End Polio” and “Briars in the Cotton Patch.” • Produced materials for print, broadcast and online media. Managed functions for major screenings of documentaries with 350+ people in attendance. Hosted numerous events for clients and represented companies at national conventions, conferences, trade shows and association meetings.

Responsible for marketing and sales of the Turner Film Library to the broadcast television and specialty cable arenas, with an emphasis on syndication. Skilled negotiator and annual multi-million dollar producer in sales.• Assembled a department and developed and implemented long-term strategic marketing and sales plans for Turner’s newly acquired film libraries( MGM, RKO, Warner Bros.) which contained over 3,500 films and documentaries. Interacted with top level executive management on a day-to-day basis, in our Los Angeles, Atlanta and New York offices. Interfaced with Accounting, Legal, Contracts and Advertising Departments. • Created new sales initiatives and established additional revenue streams by setting up distribution channels for television stations to license and purchase titles. In addition, worked with The National Geographic Society, The National Audubon Society and The Cousteau Society to bring their programs to television audiences. Also updated and distributed Carl Sagan’s series “Cosmos” and several David Attenborough/BBC serie's. Sold over 375 hours of Nature programming to television stations with 95% US market penetration. Worked with broadcast affiliates, PBS, The Discovery and Learning Channels, and The Bravo Networks. Developed a new retail sales program for DVD’s and Videos.• Implemented the first company wide recycling program that is still in effect today. Manager CNN Syndicated AD Sales 1984 -1986Instrumental in creating a department for CNN Headline News Advertising, providing commercial ads to over 300 broadcast affiliates. Increased operational effectiveness by setting up systems to better coordinate the New York, Chicago and Atlanta ad sales department’s. Managed a staff of eight employees and controlled over $24 million in billings.
