• Led Foundation’s focus on youth financial education through fundraising, project management, and grant administration and served on New York Credit Union Association senior management team• Increased Community Investment Fund deposits from $22.3 to $30.4 million, raised $438,000 from grantors and $390,000 for endowment fund, and implemented a new individual giving program• Functioned as spokesperson to increase awareness about the Foundation and financial education at statewide chapter meetings, NY Credit Union Association Annual Convention, State Credit Union Foundation network meetings across the country; and financial education-related media appearances• Managed collaborations with Junior Achievement, Jumpstart Coalition, National Urban Alliance for Effective Education, Credit Union National Association, National Consumers League, National Endowment for Financial Education (NEFE), NYSED, and NYC Office of Financial Empowerment• Coordinated and presented at statewide, NEFE train-the-trainer programs designed for NYS teachers, Cornell Cooperative extension educators, and credit union staffers• Created two youth education programs: Kids Cash Kits–hands-on tools to teach basics of saving, spending, and sharing for ages 5–9; Money & Me–summer personal finance workshop for teens• Disbursed more than $500,000 in grant awards for disaster relief and financial literacy• Helped lead national, industry-wide coalition to secure funding for production of PBS series, Biz Kid$, teaching financial education and entrepreneurship (Funded by America’s Credit Unions)• Produced bilingual identity theft awareness and education campaign for credit unions
