The Select Committee’s mission was to study the root causes of economic disparity and to apply lessons learned to policy recommendations that can promote more inclusive economic opportunities and growth.

Served as "Economist Mom in Residence," working closely with Avison Young’s insights team to leverage real-time data and analytics to make cities and location-based decisions more transparent and efficient. Produced written content/commentary using AY data on issues related to the U.S. economy, recovery and our communities.

Have taught courses on tax policy and on behavioral economics to graduate students in the Trachtenberg School of Public Policy and Public Administration and in the Applied Economics program. The latest course I developed and teach is on alternative/heterodox economic perspectives applied to economic policy issues.

Conducted research and wrote reports/papers on various issues including state taxes and welfare reform, federal income tax policy, the macroeconomic effects of demographic change, and microsimulation models of the economy.
