Diane Moore, M.Ed., CCDP, is a Professor in the Career Development Practitioner Certificate Program at George Brown College in Toronto, Canada. Her specialization is design and delivery of online courses for Career Development Practitioners. She was previously a professor in the Career & Work Counsellor Program at George Brown from 2005 to 2014 and coordinated the program from 2011 to 2014.In 2015, Diane received the first designation as a Certified Career Development Practitioner by the Career Development Practitioners' Certification Board of Ontario and was previously a Career Management Fellow with the Institute of Career Certification. She completed an Online Teaching Certificate through the Online Learning Consortium in November 2015 and led the design of online courses for the new Career Development Practitioner Certificate Program launched at George Brown College in September 2018. Other areas of expertise including administering and interpreting assessment tools, navigating the job search process and publishing articles and blogs on a wide range of career development topics. Diane is currently a Director with the Career Development Practitioners' Certification Board of Ontario.An experienced keynote speaker and published author, Diane has written more than 2000 articles and conducted workshops for thousands of people on topics such as job interviews, career management, dealing with change, and working with different personality styles. She was Editor of The Office Professional newsletter for 18 years and published her first book, "CareerAbility: Skills Office Professionals Need to Succeed in the 21st Century," in 2003. She has worked in career counselling, adult education, consulting, writing and editing for nearly thirty years. Diane's work has been featured in The Toronto Sun, The Toronto Star, The Globe and Mail, and Training & Development magazine. She holds certifications in Life Skills I & II, Career & Employment Information Specialist, Personality Dimensions, Survivability, the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator and Constructivist Counselling.
