Diane Lyons is a 35-year executive serving clients in business, healthcare, technology and talent leadership. Throughout her career, she has worked to advance the growth of multi-national corporate firms, small and medium enterprises, nonprofits, and business start-ups. Currently, Diane is Virtual CIO, and CISO for BlueNovo Inc. an IT HIT consulting firm providing strategic, fractional C-Level services, HIT, and IT managed services to Community Health Centers nation-wide to provide superior patient-centric, strategic business, and technology services. Most recently, she has successfully implemented EPIC EHR systems at over 40 Health Centers in Northern California and responded to Covid-19 by rapidly leading technology teams to assist with the switch to patient care via Telehealth. .Diane served for twelve years, as Vice President, CIO, and Security Officer at Capital Caring, one of the largest hospice providers and community palliative care clinics in the nation. Prior to that, she served in executive leadership roles with General Electric, Lexis-Nexis, New York State Government's Office of Mental Health, and with Albany Medical Center Hospital and Medical College. Throughout her career, Diane has assembled highly skilled and talented teams to align business vision with modernized technology infrastructures built from the ground up decreasing both the total cost of ownership and the footprint of data centers while improving speed, reliability, and utilization.Diane is a member of executive leadership and oversees technology divisions to support and drive technology that aligns with the business vision and the strategic planning she contributes to. Most recently, Diane has implemented EPIC EHR systems throughout large health systems. She has migrated traditional data centers to hybrid, public and private clouds, virtualized data centers, moved to colocation facilities, deployed VDI’s, EMC and NetApp SANs, implemented VoIP, built data warehouses for organizational business analytics, plus implemented multiple layers of cybersecurity protection to better protect the rapid proliferation of terabytes and petabytes of highly valuable corporate and organizational data.
