My position at ACTON Marketing involved creating marketing materials for our clients, who were primarily from the financial industry. I love Graphic Design and saw every new client as a challenge of my abilities. It was fun to work with the creative department to redesign our corporate identity materials. I had the honor of taking my design and implementing it for all our corporate brochures.My favorite software programs are InDesign and Photoshop. In Photoshop I honed my skills over the years, doing all the photo cleanup of the many premiums/gifts that our clients offer in their mailings. For the last 2 years of my employment with ACTON, I served as the in-house premium photographer as well. I use Creative Suite (CS6), primarily InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator. Powerpoint projects don't usually fall to me, but I have worked on a few.An additional responsibility is to keep track of the paper supplies for our color printer. It's not exactly creative, but no one wants to run out of paper. We use higher quality paper as we also act as a printer for low quantity projects.I've gained so much experience here. One of the things ACTON has provided for me is a sound understanding of the production process. We have to know what works best for print production and how to create files that are production friendly, and which lead to the best results for our clients.

DuctMedic gave the the opportunity to do ads, business cards, and marketing materials for the the sales teams. On call, I often found myself with a quick turn around project. I worked for and with great people.
