Diane Stemper received her B.F.A. in Printmaking from San Francisco Art Institute and a M.A. in Interdisciplinary Arts from San Francisco State University. She has a Masters of Arts in Art Education from Miami University in Ohio. Ms. Stemper has managed visual arts education programs, managed artist-in-residence programs, coordinated exhibitions and has taught art and the art of bookbinding and artist books to children and adults in a variety of venues including museums, libraries, schools, community art centers and universities. Her professional work of teaching and program development led her to grant writing. Since her first experiences with grant writing, Ms. Stemper has written grants for two regional art museums and several smaller non-profit arts organizations. Her current position at the Taft Museum of Art in Cincinnati, Ohio as Grant Writer has offered her the opportunity to write, receive and manage major Federal grants for the museum.
