At Schenck (now CLA) I was part of the leadership team and I was responsible for facilitating the marketing, branding and business development initiatives growing the company to a $90M accounting, tax and consulting organization. I was fortunate to also have a big focus on community stewardship in this position – the firm fully supported giving back to the community, and I was able to build many relationships and lead many of those efforts.

I was recruited to the Board of Directors of Denmark State Bank and I held this position for 9 years while at Schenck. I led Board Governance and was asked to serve as Chairman of the Board during my final two years. I found the role as a board member and chairman to be a rewarding and humbling experience.

I started with De Pere Federal Savings right out of college, and I was very excited to join a well-known local organization in the Green Bay area. I was responsible for overseeing the marketing department, and overtime, I was able to step into the leadership team. This role was my first glimpse at stewardship, and it fueled my passion for giving back to the community.
