Nanny Diane IntroI am a Newborn Care Specialist, Nanny, and Governess. I have cared for 10 sets newborn twins, as well as several single birthed babes and other children, in the past 14 years. I have worked for one family for as long as 5 1/2 yrs., as well as working many temporary positions from a couple of weeks to several months. I have worked in 9 states to date as "The Flying Nanny." I normally live in during the workweek so I can be available for the family without commuting issues. I specialize in giving nurturing care, scheduling, getting babes to sleep through the night, teaching/training in good character traits and social skills, phonics, and academics, and much more. :) I normally work for families who are professionals to provide experienced and seasoned quality care for their children (over 10,000 hrs.). I was also the founder and administrator of two ongoing private schools with as many as 45 students and up to 15 staff members. I have experience for families in “elimination communication” with newborns and up. I have experience teaching a wonderful Christian preschool program to children between the ages of 3 and 5. I normally charge $25/hr. for one babe and $30/hr. for two babes. I start out doing nights for families, along with guiding the schedule day and night, and then transition to days when the mothers are ready to return to their work. Sometimes, a temporary day nanny is needed until the babes are sleeping through the night, and then we make the transition. I am willing to stay for a family as long as they need me.
