I worked with Foresight Controls initially on a part time basis and then full time. My role was to oversee the development and implementation two different projects using a distributed development team. They are cloud hosted web applications written in Python and Django.

In my role as Senior Technical Consultant, I have been involved in a successful OpenVMS to Linux rehosting project and a similar proof of concept rehosting.  Other project tasks have included Adabas replication & NaturalOne enablement.  As a Certified Trainer I have conducted a number of A&N Fundamentals classes using NaturalOne.

I started at Data Interconnect as the Service Delivery Manager overseeing the Customer Service Team, Print & Post, and working with IT and the Business Development / Account Managers. I also assisted in the implementation of a number of EDI projects working with the Key Account Manager and IT Development team members. The company underwent a change of office and a resulting Business Transformation process. As part of this, I negotiated new print solution contracts, implemented a new phone system, new reporting tool and CRM (including the data migration from the old one). Also managing to achieve the ISO9001 accreditation for the company. There was a natural progression from ISO9001 to GDPR compliance and so in 2018 I became the Data Protection Officer. At this point I reduced my hours so I could also focus on Foresight Controls Ltd.With the introduction of GDPR in 2018, I also acted as the Data Protection Officer, writing the requirements for new processes and functionality within the IT systems. I was also called on to become involved in the new development project team where I was involved in testing the Php / angular application using selenium. We took an automated testing approach using behat specifications (a Behaviour Driven Development initiative)

Project Manager role, co-ordinating the design, development and testing efforts of resources in India. Ensuring functionality matched user requirements and that requirements were fully understood. Agile methodology was incorporated and Rally utilised for each deliverable to record user stories and defects.

Project Manager for Bank Details encryption, Diary Note processing improvement, Single Point of Delivery (to utilise savings from the Post Office) and involved in the Business Transformation Project.Used Reims (B2B DataGateway); received customers records from numerous ‘feeds’ in varying formats, cleanse data, and construct xml messages for .net system to process. Testing performed using HP Quality Centre encompassing tests over different platforms.

Headed up the BAU team (Business As Usual) in the UK implementing numerous small enhancements to the Adabas Natural systems. The enhancements would often link in with web enabled front end systems. The role therefore quickly developed into Configuration Manager overseeing a monthly release into Production. I was also the main point of contact between the Business Stakeholders, UAT team in the UK and a team of programmers in India I was responsible for ensuring that the requirements were understood and developed accurately according to the business requirements and technical specification.

A series of major projects for the Australian Securities and Investments Commission, (ASIC) the equivalent of the UK’s Companies House:Project 1; Development of Revenue system to process document lodgment fees.Project 2; Cole Royal Commission to stamp out illegal directors. Involving a massive data analysis and data matching using various feeds from other Government bodies. Project 3 – conduct meetings with users (JAD sessions) to establish workflows and processes, depicted by extensive use of UML use case diagrams. Provided a new document tracking system using an EDMS (electronic data management system for the Markets Regulations section of ASIC which regulates the ASX (Australian Stock Exchange)
