Majority owner of a multi-award winning Video Production Company, Producer an acting studio & Founder of a 501c3 nonprofit. Executive Producer of Spirit of Innovation and Festival Director of DigiFest Temecula and international film, video and digital multimedia 3 day festival est. in 2017.Drawn to the arts, Diane went to Fullerton JC focusing her education on theatre & journalism earning an AA in liberal Arts. Then attended the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, pursuing acting professionally till realizing her passion in producing which lead to obtaining a BA in TV Production & Media Marketing from California State University NorthridgeProducing professionally on notable Theatre Productions and on entertainment television shows: General Hospital, Friends, & Veronica’s Closet. Diane was an in-house producer for The Walt Disney Company, Universal Studios, & Staples Center. Before escaping the Hollywood scene Diane spent 11 months working in reality television. Diane found a niche in creating corporate videos for marketing & communications gaining a reputation of creativity, meeting of deadlines, & always bringing it in “on or under” budget.Diane founded JDS Video & Media Productions, Inc. in May of 2003, with her partner in both life & business, Scott Strand. In January 2010 Diane started a Drama Club program in the Temecula Unified School District. With such a huge response she created an Actors Studio for all ages teaching the technique & craft of Acting, now known as JDS Actors Studio. In 2014 Diane and Scott co founded JDS Creative Academy. JDSCA works with mainstream fostering at rexkeith and special needs adults with developmental disabilities and autism, providing career pathways and visual performing and digital arts.Diane is deeply involved with the community & the region’s economic development, currently sitting on 3 Boards: EDC of Southwest California, SW Community Development Organization, and Riverside County Workforce. Diane is the executive board Treasurer and co-chairs the Marketing committee for the EDC, she is an Ambassador for the Temecula Chamber of Commerce, and was named the 2019 Temecula Valley Ambassador of the year by Visit Temecula. Diane is a Co Chair' for the Woman in Business event for TVCC. In addition to mentoring through the HIGHER program.Specialties: Video production & multimedia from concept to delivery. This first of its kind production provides news and information to the region, career pathway advancement for the digital high-tech industry, and job training skills and placement for a population that gets overlooked.

President & ProducerJds Actors Studio Apr 2010 - PresentUsScott and Diane Strand, the Owners of JDS Video & Media Productions have designed a program that enriches creative growth in today’s youth and provides an atmosphere where creative adults are able express themselves emotionally through artistic expression. The Public speaking component comes from their Corporate Video business, realizing that business professionals are sometimes not comfortable when they have to present on a topic or talk on camera for their business.In January 2010 Scott and Diane started a Drama Club program which launched in the Temecula Unified School District This program grew so much, they decided to create an Actor’s Studio for Toddlers, Youth, Teens and Adults which is now known as JDS Actors Studio. The in school programs now run through the nonprofit Scott and Diane founded – JDS Creative Academy.Since launching JDS Actors Studio in May of 2010 we have enrolled over 600 students who have participated in our acting classes, private lessons, and/or our professional workshops. Our Industry Showcase workshop has been very successful. We have been able to assist actors in getting agent representation from SAG franchised agencies. We produce One Act Plays featuring our enrolled actors through our actors ensemble workshop that play to a full house. We offer a wide range of workshops for our professional actors from Camera classes to Commercial and Audition Techniques to welcoming in guest instructors for Shakespeare training. We are very excited about the Hollywood professionals that come to our studio to teach and scout talent. Such as; Jana Luker, The Jana Luker Agency and Nancy Chaidez, The Nancy Chaidez Agency to Casting Directors; Lorna Johnson, from Disney, March Teschner, from ABC’s General Hospital, and Independent Casting Directors for Features and Television series Gerald I. Wolff and Pamela Staton who cast’s regularly for the Walt Disney Co. Warner Bros. & Universal Studios. -
