Diane Stukes Email and Phone Number
I am an emerging Full Stack Software Engineer (and for now, also technical writer). After many years as a technical writer, I am finally shifting and pursuing software engineering, my long-time dream that I passionately desire to realize so that I can express my full potential in creativity and innovation via web development. I am currently a participant in the Pursuit Fellowship, where only 9% of applicants are accepted to train as FSW Fellows. This year of training will allow me to build upon, strengthen and extend my knowledge of the web technologies that I love so that I can make an amazing technological contribution in IT and beyond. Those who know me have described me as “faithful, kind, tenacious, a great worker, a great team player and a leader.” As I expand into web development, I look forward to utilizing the technologies I have learned about as well as being open and ready to learn more. I love to keep growing, for life never stands still.

This was a great assignment in many ways. It presented a unique challenge of extracting and assembling bits and pieces of data via input from a large variety of sources, most of which was static data (older PMO books and a mixture of old and new internet postings). All updates had to be reviewed by a special group of PMs to be accepted. They represented 15 key stakeholder departments. I must say that working with this group was a real joy! While a major part of this job was populating the manual, another was drawing out "collaborated" information from this group, who had varied times of availability. While I have helped in other projects, this was the purest "project management" experience of all. I learned much about project management, while utilizing my writing skills as well as all of my social, leadership, negotiation and organizational skills. Since then, I have become a member of the PMI community and hope to obtain a PMI certification in the future. Show less -
