As Owner/Artist of Deep Sea Glass I am responsible for all aspects of the business, including designing and creating new items; speaking with clients who want to commission custom pieces; researching new venues where I can display and sell my art; and I handle all aspects of the business end, like purchasing supplies, pricing, advertising, and inventory.I am currently creating several online websites, including several social media sites, where I can not only display and sell my pieces, but also use as networking venues. I regularly participate in local art fairs and festivals, and have exhibited at the Sawdust Art Festival Winter Fantasy 6 years in a row. ​​I received my bachelor's degree in Art from California State University Fullerton and have since been creating original stained glass art for many years. While I thoroughly enjoy creating and selling pieces that are aesthetically pleasing not only to myself but to my customers, my passion really lies in creating custom work. While I continue to explore new ways to create with glass, I am 'brushing up' on my skills as an oil painter too.

Sawdust Art Festival, Winter Fantasy is a holiday-themed festival that runs 4 weekends each year. As an artist, I was responsible for not only creating my own art to sell, but also for everything from building my booth space, (following safety guidelines set up and inspected by the city) to displaying and pricing my art; handling all aspects of sales; and live demonstrations showing the making of my art to teach the public.

While working at Dos Hermanos in the Sears Tower, Chicago, I began as a food server and worked my way up through the ranks of Bartender, and then to Front Of House.
