Navigating our ups and downs is where we find life’s meaning, but that doesn’t mean we have to do it alone. I work side-by-side with my clients to help them identify what is holding them back from the authentic, purposeful existence that they deserve. I am experienced in assisting individuals who are going through a difficult transition in their lives. It is crucial to my approach that I provide an accepting, warm and nurturing environment so that clients feel safe and supported during our sessions. As a certified clinical anxiety treatment professional and telehealth provider, I provide helpful strategies for processing feelings and restoring the mind-body connection during periods of grief or depression.What guided me to this sensitive work is a combination of my values and my education. I have a Masters degree in Psychology Clinical Counseling as well as a Certificate in Healthcare Administration and Management from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science. I also have a Bachelors of Science degree in Pre-Medicine from Roosevelt University concentrating on Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. My academic background, scientific training and professional experience have equipped me with a range of skills and knowledge that I have subsequently integrated into my therapeutic practice.Every client I connect with is unique, and so the form my work takes is tailored to the needs of the individual. I take time to design a treatment based on specific client needs using a range of modalities such as CBT, mindfulness, anger management, and parent education. I remain abreast of developments in my field and take pride in applying new research to my practice. When clients work with me they feel assured of my commitment to their goals; during the therapeutic process, they receive the highest standards of care and professionalism.Although the approach varies depending on the client, my objective remains the same: to empower those I work with to live fuller lives enriched with meaning and purpose.
