Having founded VisionPoint Marketing in 2001, an integrated marketing agency that helps institutions of higher education meet their admissions, branding, and communication goals, Diane has spent two decades pioneering new approaches in data-informed, strategic marketing in higher education. She has helped more than 500 leaders from institutions of all shapes and sizes across the country to distinguish their brands, attract and retain right-fit students, and grow enrollments.As her many clients over the years will tell you, Diane is both a marketing savant and a prescient consultant. Perhaps her most valuable gift, though, is her tenacity as a problem solver. Diane has a knack for seeing through challenges to new opportunities, building culture, and mobilizing teams.Diane leverages those gifts for the good of the higher ed industry. Recognizing the many changes and challenges our institutional partners are facing, Diane works with VisionPoint’s leadership to shape sophisticated solutions that help our partners thrive. It’s such a privilege getting to pay that forward, helping our clients deliver on their educational mission to transform all future generations.Before founding VisionPoint, Diane had an early career in marketing with significant media and marketing organizations in many leadership positions - Cox Communications, SourceLink, High Speed Net Solutions, and ADVO (now Valassis) – the country’s largest direct marketing firm – among other respected organizations. She is an Alston Pleasants Scholar and an alumna of the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill. Outside of work, Diane enjoys spending time with her husband and their four children, as well as yoga and reading a mixture of self-awareness, mystery, and Malcolm Gladwell.
